Things To Do

Sennybridge, a Brecon Beacons National Park village, is within the County of Powys.

Powys is the largest county in Wales, covering a quarter of the whole country, yet it has one of the smallest populations, there are more sheep than people and this is probably why we have such beautiful countryside, wonderful walks, excellent bike routes and pony trekking.

The Brecon Beacons National Park Visitor Centre (known locally as the Mountain Centre) is only 5 miles away and a fantastic place to visit. it has a wealth of information on everything to do with the National Park and its history. You can go from the centre on a variety of walks and take in the stunning views of Pen-y-Fan which is the highest mountain in South Wales.

The National Showcaves (Dan-yr-Ogof) are only 10 miles away, they have 3 award winning Showcaves, a Dinosaur Park and a Shire Horse Centre. This is a great day out and well worth the visit. Visit website here

Only 7 miles away from us is a Red Kite Feeding Station, it is in Llanddeusant. Visit website here.

We have many waterfalls to visit and we keep information on these at the Inn.

For very good information on the area and all the activities there is a wealth of information available on the websites, listed below, in the local Tourist Information Office in Brecon 01874 622485, and we also keep Information leaflets etc at the Inn.
